The Cleveland Bay Horse is the oldest breed of English horse dating back to medieval times. Her Majesty the Queen has kept Cleveland Bays at the Royal Mews since King George V introduced them and still actively breeds Cleveland’s for state and ceremonial duties, at all state events the Royal Cleveland Bays will be seen drawing the state coaches carrying members of the royal family.
